With patience and persistency you will be able to find local magazines and newspapers who will be happy to receive your story. Most publications run tight budgets, so content they get for free will at least be considered. Press releases can be done quickly and cheaply and potentially get your company’s information out to a wide audience.
Write regular press releases. Don’t confuse this with becoming a journalist. You’re doing this for the promotional value.
A press release of 500-600 words per month will be enough and could be about a new kind of product, an event, a new partnership, etc. Don’t think you have nothing interesting to say. Remember that compared to the average person you know so much more about your field.
