Don't Just Say: Call...

To merely produce sales and promotional material with the bottom line saying: call us at Tel... if you need our assistance, is simply not enough. Through trust and belief in your ability to deliver great service, customers will naturally want to call you when the reasons for them to do so are laid out clearly. So, before embarking on any planned marketing initiative, identify your end goal/s in terms of the response you hope to provoke in the receivers of your message.

Every marketing and promotional activity should have a clear purpose. Unless you want to be gambling with your advertising budget, every marketing activity should invite a response, and first and foremost give people a reason to respond. This doesn’t need to be a direct sale, but might be clicking on a link to get to important information or passing by a shop to receive this information. As the purpose is building relationships with your customers, it is actually often more beneficial in the long run to take your time in sales and put some effort into making potential customers trust you.
